Terms of Use
Effective date: October 25, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Chebulaev Oleg Valerevich, an individual developer ("we", "us"), the publisher of the BidBill app (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Who may use the App
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. The App is made for business use: preparing estimates and invoices for your own work as a contractor or service provider. If you use it on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for that company.
License and restrictions
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as allowed by these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The App, including its design, code and starter price lists, belongs to us. These Terms do not give you any other rights in it.
You may not:
- copy, modify, resell, rent or distribute the App;
- reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the App's source code, except where the law allows it;
- use the App for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to infringe anyone's rights.
Your data
- Everything you enter in the App, including your business profile, clients, price list, estimates, invoices and payments, is stored only on your device. We do not keep a copy and cannot recover it.
- The App does not back up or sync your data between devices.
- You are responsible for your data and for keeping it safe, for example with your iPhone's own backup.
- Deleting the App deletes all of its data from your device.
- Your data belongs to you.
Your documents
The App is a tool. You decide what goes into every estimate and invoice, and you are responsible for it. Before you send a document, check every price, quantity, amount, discount, tax rate, total and date. Starter price list items are examples only. They have no prices until you set them.
The App does not give tax, legal or accounting advice. You are responsible for applying the correct sales tax and for meeting the licensing, contract and notice requirements where you work. Ask a qualified professional if you are unsure.
Subscriptions
You can use the App for free. On the free plan you can create up to 10 invoices and 10 estimates each calendar month and preview them in the App, but you cannot share, print or send them outside the App. For more, the App offers two optional plans, sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through the App Store:
- Pro lets you share, print and send your estimates and invoices, and includes up to 10 invoices and 10 estimates each calendar month.
- Premium includes everything in Pro, with no monthly limit on invoices and estimates, and AI Estimates (see below).
How subscriptions work:
- Each plan is offered for different billing periods, such as a week, a month or a year. The price, the billing period and any free trial are shown in the App Store before you buy. Prices may differ by country and may include taxes.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions auto-renew. A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Some subscriptions start with a free trial, for example 3 days. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the free trial ends, the paid subscription starts and you are charged. A free trial is offered only if your Apple ID is eligible for it, as the App Store decides. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time in your Apple ID account settings on your device. If you cancel, the subscription stays active until the end of the current period, and you are not charged again. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- All payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, and we cannot issue them ourselves. You can request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com
- To use a subscription on another device or after reinstalling the App, sign in with the same Apple ID and tap Restore Purchases.
- When a subscription ends, the App returns to the free plan. Your data stays on your device, and you can still view and edit it and create documents within the free plan limits, but you cannot share, print or send documents until you subscribe again.
- If the price of a subscription changes, Apple tells you in advance and, where its rules require it, asks for your consent before charging the new price. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
AI Estimates
AI Estimates is a feature of the Premium plan. It writes a draft estimate from your description of a job and your price list. It is offered with a reasonable fair-use limit on the number of drafts you can generate per day and per month, which may change.
A draft is only a suggestion and may be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for every estimate you create: check the items, quantities and prices before you send it to your customer. We do not guarantee that a draft is accurate, complete or suitable for your job.
Do not enter personal data of your customers, such as names, phone numbers or addresses, in your request. What the feature sends, and to whom, is described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
The App relies on services from other companies: Apple (the App Store, in-app purchases, iOS and its mapping service), Apphud (checking and restoring your subscriptions), Google Firebase (anonymous analytics and crash reports, which you can turn off in the App's Settings, and the backend of AI Estimates), RouterAI (an AI gateway) and Anthropic (the AI provider behind AI Estimates). Our Privacy Policy explains how they are used. When you send documents with other apps, such as Mail or Messages, those apps are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. You must also follow any third-party terms that apply to you when you use the App, such as your wireless carrier's terms.
Disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, THAT ITS CALCULATIONS WILL FIT YOUR SITUATION, OR THAT YOUR DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR BUSINESS, INCLUDING LOSSES CAUSED BY INCORRECT DOCUMENTS, TAX CALCULATIONS OR LOST DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP AND ITS SUBSCRIPTIONS IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, IF ANY, OR USD 50.
Apple-specific terms
- These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content.
- We, not Apple, are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.
- If the App fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed, and for any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by the App's failure to conform to any warranty.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your use of it. Apple is not responsible for addressing any such claims, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet any legal or regulatory requirement, claims under consumer protection or similar laws, and claims that the App infringes someone else's intellectual property rights. We are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any intellectual property claim.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Changes and termination
We may update these Terms. We will publish the new version with a new effective date and include it in an update of the App. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the updated Terms. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Your license ends automatically if you break these Terms.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived or limited by contract.
